Yaffa's Children of Music Project
The Jaffa’s Children of Music project was founded by Ran Shimoni, a lauded drummer and valued musician in the Israeli music industry.
The project began in 2012, aiming to help children from weak socio-economic populations through the offering of opportunities in the music world.
Petah-Tikva Children of Music Project
The Children's Music Center in the Yoseftal neighborhood of Petach Tikvah was established as part of a neighborhood rehabilitation project initiated and implemented by FINAL in the framework of their social activities.
FINAL invested in the entire neighborhood, establishing the community center and creating professional and social cooperatives for the benefit of the entire neighborhood.
The Makor association joined the project in favor of establishing a music center for youth and has been operating since March 2018
WiZO Nahalat Yehuda Children of Music Project
The WIZO Nahalat Yehuda Youth Village has three institutions - a school for grades 7-12, a boarding school and an agricultural farm, and is under the supervision and funding of Youth Aliyah (Ministry of Education) and WIZO Switzerland
The Makor Village Center is currently operating in a partial format with the aim of expanding the project and bringing music to all the village boys and girls
On the agenda - the children's music project in Ness Ziona and Dimona
Following the impressive success of the Children's Music Project in Jaffa, there is a demand for similar projects from other cities.
At present Makor is in preliminary discussions for Children Music Projects with the local authorities of the city of Ness Ziona and the city of Dimona. It is Makor's aim and vision to establish such centers throughout the country
